A Story Lost

I found the journal we used to share
Tucked in a drawer beneath old clothes I never wear
The pages yellowed, the ink has bled
But your words still echo inside my head

A coffee stain on chapter three
Where we dreamed of places we'd never see
I flip through memories worn and thin
