Kiku (聴く) means "to listen", and it is a free rhythm game, an app for Android phones. It listens to a song, finds the beat and the melody, and turns them into notes on four lanes that you tap as they reach the line.
Ten of my songs live inside it. Download them once and play them anywhere, even on a flight with no signal, or open Listen mode and hear them as an album, with the lyrics, also with the screen off.
Each one becomes a level: Easy, Normal or Hard, a quick minute or the whole song. Catch the four falling letters K I K U for a bonus, and chase an S on every one of them. Tap a title to read its letter here.
Beyond my ten, any MP3 on your phone becomes a level. Songs are analysed on the phone and saved, so they load at once the second time.
Two phones side by side over Bluetooth, the same song at the same moment, with live scores. No internet needed.
My songs as an album, without the game, with the lyrics on screen. It keeps playing with the screen off.
Kiku isn't open to everyone on Google Play yet. It's in a closed test, and Google only lets it go live once enough beta testers have kept it installed for 14 days in a row. If you'd like to help, join below, keep it on your phone for two weeks and play now and then. Thank you ♥
